How do I Fill a Prescription?

Moving to adult services means you have to start filling your own prescriptions.

Your doctor will give you a prescription for your meds.

All you have to do is take this piece of paper to a pharmacy.

Give it to the pharmacist and they will get your meds ready for you.

You might have to wait a little while, about 10-15 minutes, for them to do this.

The pharmacist will give you your meds when they’re ready. You will have to pay for your prescriptions, so let your doctor know if this is a problem.

Your pharmacist will know how your meds work so you can ask them any questions you have about the meds you’re on.
